A brief pause

Due to an unexpected period away from home, we at Those Who Can See are very unhappily obliged to put our blogging temporarily on hold.  Thank you to one and all for the encouragement, debate, and for reading and sharing any data here that you find of interest.

The goal remains to open the eyes of as many of our fellow travelers as possible: when minds change, policy changes.

Do take a stroll through the right-hand blog list from time to time (auto-updated), where there is much hearty food for thought.

To those who can see, to those who cannot, and to those whose eyes are just beginning to open: Thanks for stopping by, and good luck on your journey. We'll be back online as quickly as we can.

The Africanization of France: One in three newborns of non-European origin

'Before, Africa was yours--now, France is ours.'   T-shirt seen on the streets of Paris, 2012.

[Note from M.G.:  The following is an excellent piece on the current demographic suicide being committed in France, graciously shared with us by Falko Baumgartner.  It has also been published at  in English and in French at Alternative Right and in German at Politically Incorrect.  Further discussion at Hail to You and Gallia Watch.]

By Falko Baumgartner

Geographically one finds France in Europe, but demographically the country is swiftly drifting towards Africa as recent data indicates. France, unlike America, does not hold censuses on ethnicity, but follows instead its ideal of the color-blind republic. This, obviously, does not change one bit the ethnic reality on the ground, but it certainly helps to keep its citizens in the dark about it. No official figures exist on the size of the immigrant population and the native French – until now. Pertinent material has come from quite an unexpected source, medicine, and it has all the hallmarks of allowing us for the first time an adequately precise and unbiased look into the strong growth of the non-White population in France.

Away for a Bit

We're away from home for a bit, shall tend to the blog as soon as possible.

For those feeling pessimistic about the future of North Euros on planet Earth, some possibly interesting tidbits:

The new French ethnopatriot group, Génération Identitaire (Hail wrote about them) has spilled ink for daring to storm the roof of a mosque under construction in Poitiers, on the 1280th anniversary of Charles Martel's victory.

Falko Baumgartner has written an excellent piece at Alt Right on the reasons behind these youngsters' worry.

This group, barely two months old, has so enflamed the islamophile chattering classes in France that calls have been made for its dissolution.

They gathered in Orange, in the south of France, for a 'convention identitaire' last weekend. Gallia Watch gives a round-up.

Their battle cry:

      Identité! Elle est à nous!

On s'est battu pour la reprendre, on se battra pour la défendre!

     Identity! It's ours!

We fought to take it back, we'll fight to defend it!

Other signs that all is not lost:

A new integration bill (covering letter and 15-page action plan), which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads: "The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people. In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role. With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society."

The letter continues: "A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens. It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands. The integration will not be tailored to different groups."

  • Belgians, oblivious to the creeping Muslim population tide, finally wake up when two 'Islam Party' candidates win municipal seats; launch a petition trying to annul the results.

We, citizens of Belgium Kingdom, free citizens who desire to remain so, signatories to this petition, request the cancellation of the election of two candidates from the list „Islam“: Lhoucine Aït Jeddig from Molenbeek and Redouane Ahrouch from Anderlecht.
The reason for our request is the following: The party that they represent have, in their election platform as well as in their public statements, clearly stated their goal of transforming Belgium into an Islamic state, with the Quran being the only source of law permissible. These facts are inconsistent with the role they are to hold in a democratically elected city council, and diametrically opposed to the oath of loyalty that everyone is required to take when taking office on December 3rd.

  • Greeks, inundated with illegal immigrants and a government which refuses to act, take matters into their own hands:

Though Golden Dawn members have attacked migrants frequently, in the past month the far-right party has stepped up its presence on the streets.  It launched a raid on a street market in Rafina, where its uniformed activists demanded to see the permits of migrant stallholders there - demonstratively smashing up the property of those who did not have them.
I ask Mr Panagiotaros: how can it be right for a party in parliament to have a uniformed militia that takes on, violently, the role of law enforcement, checking papers and overturning market stalls? He explains:
"With one incident, which was on camera, the problem was solved - in every open market all over Greece illegal immigrants disappeared."

Better late than never?

All is not lost, not yet.

We'll be back online shortly.  Thank you for reading.

Emancipation Provocation

"Ain't no money in the world can get me on my feet before we hit Memphis! And if I never see a
bale of cotton no more in life, that'll be too soon."

At Those Who Can See, we recently postulated that in a Euro society, Afros on average need stronger social controls than other groups in order to conform to Euro behavioral norms.  Where these controls are tightest, such as a slavery system, black criminality will be lowest; and where such controls are loosest, black criminality will be very high.  We also hypothesized that when a new freedom or right is obtained by Afros, a statistically significant percentage of them will 'act out' in response, in ways that include antisocial and criminal behavior.

We suggested four such periods in U.S. history in which to test our hypothesis:

(1) the Reconstruction South in the years after Emancipation
(2) Northern cities absorbing waves of southern Blacks fleeing Jim Crow during the 'Great Migration' (1910-1950)
(3) the post Civil Rights-era U.S. of the 1960s and 1970s
(4) the period following Barack Obama's inauguration as first Afro president of the U.S.

Last time, we examined (2), the change in crime statistics before and after the Civil Rights era of the 1960s.  Today, we shall look at  period (1), the South post-Emancipation.

This is the most delicate of questions, as human bondage, while common throughout history, is seen with strong revulsion today in the West.  Is it to be expected that he who moves from slavery to freedom will lash out in violence at his past oppressors?  The more optimistic writers of the time, Black as well as White, believed the freed slave would quickly use his liberty to educate himself and lead a productive, civilized existence alongside 'the superior race.'  The more pessimistic thought emancipation of Afros could only lead to chaos.

Who was right?

Empirical data on the question is tricky to come by, for a variety of reasons.  And it is important to distinguish Reconstruction from the period following it. The years 1865-1876 were topsy-turvy for all the South, under military occupation and with illiterate Afros being shoehorned by the occupiers into State Houses and judgeships. Things didn't return to 'normal' until the late 1870s, and the men quoted below are mainly referring to the period beginning then. We shall start with their observations, then move on to the statistics.

I. Anti-social behavior after Reconstruction: Anecdotes

1) A general increase in crime

Post-Reconstruction era writings are rife with anecdotes of high black crime, from both Southern authors and visitors to the South.  W.E.B. DuBois, 1899:

Throughout the land there has been since the war [between the states] a large increase in crime, especially in cities.  ... The Negro began to rush to the cities in large numbers after 1880, and consequently the phenomena attendant on that momentous change of life are tardier in his case. His rate of criminality has in the last two decades risen rapidly...(1)
